Cleantech Leaders Roundtable, in collaboration with Clean Energy Venture Group (CEVG), invites you to our Spring Angels Pitch Showcase, on Thursday, June 15th in Boston. CTLR Angels is a growing group of angel investors that aims to support top start-ups seeking early-stage funding and focused on decarbonization, the energy transition, or climate adaptation solutions. CEVG's mission is to support and invest in early-stage clean energy companies that have the potential to mitigate climate change and achieve attractive financial returns.
The event will be held at Foley Hoag's beautiful office suite overlooking the historic Boston Seaport. It will first include a presentation from the three top company executives from our Spring Round, carefully selected from over eighty submissions, and a dinner to celebrate innovation with our broader Boston community. Join us for an opportunity to hear from exciting new startups and forge meaningful connections with entrepreneurs and investors.
With our national reach and prominent & diverse membership, CTLR is well positioned to receive interesting deal flow. CTLR hosts several in-person and Zoom pitch showcases throughout the year. Doreen Harris was appointed President and CEO of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) on April 7, 2021. Prior to becoming President, Ms. Harris has held public and private sector leadership roles advancing clean energy projects and engineering companies for more than 20 years. During her tenure at NYSERDA, she has held executive, technical, and policy positions, including Vice President of Large-Scale Renewables. Ms. Harris also serves as the co-chair of the New York State Climate Action Council, a 22-member committee that is preparing a Scoping Plan to achieve the State's bold clean energy and climate agenda.
